Pricing
Is Plushly really free?
Yes. Plushly is free with no credit card required. Free includes the matched deck, swipe-to-apply, AI resume tailoring, cover letters, application tracking, and reply inbox. Optional upgrades exist for higher daily volume, but the core auto-apply flow is free for everyone.
How does Plushly make money if it's free?
Optional paid upgrades for users who want larger daily refills, faster matching, or priority queueing. The free tier is sustainable because most users find what they need on it.
Will I be charged later if I sign up free?
No. Free signup never converts to paid without your explicit action. There is no auto-billing trial.

How does AI auto apply work?
Plushly watches every new job listing across LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, and 12,000+ company career pages. For each match, it tailors a fresh resume to the listing's vocabulary, drafts a cover letter, fills out the application form, answers screening questions in your voice, and submits to real career sites. Instantly. You get a tracker full of submitted applications with screenshots of every confirmation page.
What's the difference between auto apply and autofill?
Autofill (like Simplify) fills in form fields, but you still find every job, click into it, and click submit yourself. Auto apply (Plushly) does the full loop: discovery, matching, tailoring, submission. You wake up to completed applications.
Does Plushly tailor my resume per job?
Yes. Plushly generates a fresh resume for each application, mirroring the listing's vocabulary and surfacing your most relevant experience. The underlying content stays honest. Only the phrasing and ordering adjust per role.
Does Plushly write a cover letter for every application?
Yes. Each cover letter is generated from the specific listing + your profile. They follow a 3-paragraph structure: hook, proof, close. Around 250 words. Generic cover letter templates are not used.
Will Plushly answer screening questions for me?
Yes. Plushly drafts answers to screening questions in your voice, using context from your profile. You can review and edit them, or let the agent submit autonomously.
How many jobs will Plushly apply to per day?
Volume depends on how many matches you swipe-approve. Free tier supports 50–100 applications per week for most users; paid tiers go higher. Plushly never applies to roles you haven't approved.

Yes. Plushly is built for students. It supports Handshake (the dominant student job board), tailors using coursework + projects + internships, and is used by students at Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Princeton, and Cambridge.
Does Plushly work outside the US?
Yes. Plushly works globally. UK, Canada, Australia, and EU are all supported. EU GDPR consent is handled correctly per employer's listed jurisdiction.

Quality & safety
Is Plushly a scam?
No. Plushly is a real AI job application tool used by 2,000+ students at universities like Stanford, MIT, Harvard, Princeton, and Cambridge. Every application is auditable with screenshots of the confirmation page.
Will recruiters know I auto-applied?
No. Plushly applies through standard application portals exactly as a human would. Recruiters see your name, resume, and answers. Nothing about Plushly is exposed to the recruiter.
Will my LinkedIn or job board accounts get banned?
No. Plushly applies at human-rate speed and only to roles you've approved. We do not run aggressive scraping or exceed any platform's rate limits.
Can I see what Plushly submitted?
Yes, every single application. The tracker shows the resume version submitted, the cover letter, the answers to each screening question, and a screenshot of the confirmation page. No black-box claims.
How is Plushly different from LazyApply?
LazyApply is a Chrome extension that mass-applies without tailoring (2.1-star Trustpilot, recurring complaints about silent failures). Plushly tailors per role, runs in the cloud (no Chrome window), and provides screenshots of every submission. Plushly also has a free tier; LazyApply is $99/year.
Technical
Do I need to install a Chrome extension?
No. Plushly is a web app and a native iOS app. There is no Chrome extension to install or maintain.
Does Plushly need my LinkedIn password?
Plushly uses your LinkedIn session cookie for Easy Apply, with the session stored encrypted on our servers and revocable at any time from your account dashboard. We do not store passwords in plaintext.
What happens to my data?
Your resume, cover letters, and application data are stored encrypted at rest. We never sell, share, or train models on your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What's a normal response rate?
Tailored applications average 8–12% response rate (interview invitation, recruiter screen, or substantive reply). Untailored mass applications average 1–2%. Plushly's per-role tailoring keeps response rates high while running at 10x manual volume.
Will Plushly help me actually get an offer?
